WARNING: EXTREMELY LONG BLOG!!!

So yesterday was a crazy day. I was with Jordan and Alan at Circuit City getting Alan's stereo installed. So we take two cars, because we thought that we'd have time to go around and go to the mall and do crap while his car was being worked on. While Alan talks to the Circuit City dudes, Jordan and I decide to whip out our longboards and skate a little bit. Jordan tries this crazy powerslide and eats it. We didn't think much of it cause it happens all the time. hehe. But then, Jordan says that he heard something snap in his arm. We examine Jordan's arm and we all decide that he's going to be ok. After we determine that Jordan is ok, we go inside Circuit City to look around for a little bit. Jordan then realizes that maybe it's not alright. He tells us that he thinks he broke it. So we look at each other for a little bit thinking of what to do. We decide to get on over to the hospital conveniently located across the street. Although, it wasn't too convenient cause the Circuit City moron gave us the crappiest directions in the world. We get to the hospital and decide to go in through the entrance with a big sign above it that said "EMERGENCY" I don't know about you, but I thought that when you go through the EMERGENCY entrance, there would be doctors waiting around and ready to cut off or fix or put back together your body as soon as you walk through the door. No. This isn't how it works. You have to sign in. And then, you have to wait for thirty minutes. You'd think that they'd have the system down by now and make it so that you wouldn't have to wait there with your arm broken so long. So they call Jordan's name and we go into the room with the nurse, but wait... she wasn't fixing his arm or calling a doctor or anything. She was taking down his info like he had a runny nose or somethin. Then, we go back into the waiting room to see the real doctor. We have to wait a good hour before they call his name again. So in this hour, we became good friends with all the other people in the emergency waiting room. Everyone is your friend in the waiting room. You all have some problem that needs to be taken care of immediately, but you have to wait and just watch each other bleed and swell. So there was one man with his son and the boy had an ice pack on his head. Apparently, the boy and his brother were fighting and his brother hit him over the head with a cologne bottle. But then, some guy all decked out in bmx wear, rushed in and everyone looked to see what happened. It was like we all knew that he was gonna have something good. I guess it just makes you feel better to see someone bleeding more or in more pain than you. You just say to yourself, "Well, it could be worse." So he walks in with a little baggy and a towel around his finger. What was in the baggy was ice.... and his finger. So that was crazy. What I don't understand is why this guy didn't get Immediate attention. His finger was in a bag!! If my finger was in a bag, I'd go in there screaming. The staff realized that he needed some attention and he got to cut in line and get his finger rea-attached. Anyways, so we go into the "operating" room or whatever and they confirm the broken arm and they get a splint all rigged up for Jordan. Jordan's doin alright. He'll make it. You'd think that he had enough pain for the week, but no. Jordan went and got his lip pierced today. Jordan is crazy. The end.

As a side note, let me tell you about a song I like. The Early November is a good band and I really enjoy the new song off of their new album entitled, The Room's Too Cold, called "Ever So Sweet." Check it out.

Alsooooo, I'm going to be in Austin, Texas this weekend.
